Does Georgia Tech deserve an at-large bid?
The Yellow Jackets played in last year's Final Four, beat Wake Forest in January, and are currently ranked 39 in the RPI.But what about Georgia Tech's 2004-2005 season suggests they are worthy of a bid to the NCAA Tournament? Certainly not today's loss to North Carolina State. Even with B.J. Elder, Paul Hewitt's club continues to struggle in the ACC.
