in ESPN. Todd Bozeman, the former head coach of the California Golden Bears, is the beneficiary of a favorable write-up by Andy Katz of the "worldwide leader."That Katz thought highly enough of him to write a column on the difficulties Todd faces in finding a coaching gig after admitting to serious infractions at Cal is a boon to Bozeman's job search. The piece raises Todd's profile, legitimizes his quest, and affirms his potential as a head coach.
The media not only reports sports news, but also influences, and at times, makes the news.
Give Bozeman another year. Before next September, I'll link to an article announcing his return to coaching.
