Via Gregg Doyel's mailbag:reddickfor3: Give me your short list for player of the year. Mine is Rashad McCants, Wayne Simien, Hakim Warrick, Lawrence Roberts.
[Doyel:] Good list. Nothing wrong with those four. I'd add Ronny Turiaf, Julius Hodge, Andrew Bogut, Hassan Adams, Joey Graham, Bracey Wright, Deron Williams, Jarrett Jack, Ryan Gomes, Francisco Garcia, Travis Diener and Chris Paul for a Sweet 16.
A solid list, though I'd replace Ryan Gomes with hot-head Sean Banks. Gomes may be the better player, but Banks is a more likely player of the year.
