The Top 50 Preseason Candidates for the 2004-2005 Wooden Award All-American Team has been out for some time now.The committee's most significant omission? According to Frank Burlison, Mike DeCourcy (in the August 16th edition, print only, of the Sporting News), and myself?
Arizona's Hassan Adams. The dynamic guard averaged 17.2 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.5 each per game of assists, steals and blocked shots as a sophomore. With Iguodala gone and Hassan a year wiser, his numbers are likely to improve.
