Tech's leading scoring may sit out today's game against Kansas. Nancy Armour notes the impact of Elder's absence and suggests that even at full strength, Tech might not be best team on the floor:The Jayhawks may be seeded a spot lower, but they're heavy favorites for Sunday's game. While Georgia Tech eked out its first three NCAA tournament victories by a combined 13 points, Kansas steamrolled over its opponents, winning by an average of 22.
I have been keen on Georgia Tech since watching Hewitt's club beat North Carolina in the ACC semifinals. The Jackets have also taken it to Connecticut and Duke. But without Elder...
